David’s 63 Café, 3700 S US Hwy 63 (4 Critical, 2 Non-Critical) Pans of flour/breading found left under prep table from day before; Food debris found in handwash sink; BBQ meat cooled to 83 degrees after 3 hours, must be cooled to 70 degrees within 2 hours (discarded); Tray of utensils observed with debris.
Sweet Lou’s Pizzeria LLC, 8567 E Wabash Ave (3 Critical, 1 Non-Critical) Nacho cheese sauce in crock pots found at 115-129 degrees – should be 135 degrees or above (discarded); Employee observed handling calzone and sandwich with bare hands to cut and transfer to customer plate; Flies observed throughout kitchen.
Bandana’s Bar-B Q, 3060 S US Hwy 41 (3 Critical) Sanitizer not dispensing at 3 bay sink correctly, no sanitizer measured in wiping cloth buckets; Metal racks found rusty and no longer smooth and easily cleanable; Hot dogs and stew held longer than 7 days (discarded).
Northstar Tavern, 2301 Lafayette Ave (2 Critical, 1 Non-Critical) Certified Food Manager certificate expired; Containers of mayonnaise, ranch dressing, cole slaw dressing and honey mustard in toppings cooler found at 67 degrees – should be 41 degrees or less (discarded); Raw eggs, sausage and bacon stored above ready to eat foods in reach in cooler.
