Emergency Crews responded to the scene of the crash at US 41 and Vila Rosa Road around 2:20 p.m.
According to the report, Carolyn S. Tupes, 73, of Rosedale, was driving a 1994 Dodge pickup, when she attempted to turn south onto US 41 from Vila Rosa Road.
Indiana State Police Sgt. Matt Ames said Trimble was thrown from his motorcycle. He explained that Trupes failed to observe Trimble's 2009 Honda motorcycle traveling southbound on US 41, when she struck it.
"Trimble attempted an evasive driving maneuver, but was unable to avoid the collision," Ames said.
