UPDATE-- The suspect's name has been released: Nathan T.Gabaldon-Curtis , 27, of Terre Haute , He is charged with armed robbery, resisting law enforcement, driving while suspended (prior), reckless driving, criminal mischief and operating a vehicle while intoxicated
According to Indiana State Police Trooper BJ Patterson, the suspect was treated and released from a local hospital for injury suffered to an ankle during the pursuit. He was booked into the Vigo Co. Jail around 3:45 a.m.

A suspect linked to several armed robberies is in custody following a multi agency police pursuit in Terre Haute tonight.
The robbery spree began at Sycamore Apartments on the Indiana State University campus and ultimately ended at the Wabash River.
The suspect was described as a white male wearing a hospital mask and displaying a gun.
According to the Terre Haute Police Department, he then fled in the victim's white Ford Fusion around 8:50 p.m.. Just a few minutes later, a gas station at N.13th and Ft. Harrison was reported as robbed and then police received another report of a gas station robbery at another nearby gas station at N.25th Street and Ft. Harrison.
A high speed pursuit followed after an Indiana State Police trooper located the suspect vehicle on the city's north side and continued until it ended at the Wabash River near Cherry Street.
According to scanner reports, the suspect fell near the Wabash River before being apprehended. A trooper reported a a shoulder injury at the scene. The suspect was transported to a local hospital after falling about 20-feet into the river.
The Terre Haute Police Department investigation is ongoing at this time. More information will be released as the investigation permits.
Indiana State Police, Indiana State University Police, Vigo County Sheriff's Office, West Vigo Police and Terre Haute Fire Department crews assisted Terre Haute Police at the scene.
