Wabash Valley Correctional Facility
CARLISLE - Former Greene County lawman and longtime Correctional Police Officer (CPO) Keith McDonald is back on the job at the Wabash Valley Correctional Facility (WVCF). McDonald is the new WVCF Office of Investigations and Intelligence (OII) Lead Investigator. McDonald returns to WVCF after running the Putnamville Correctional Facility (PCF) operation for over a year. During that time his team filed over 45 criminal charges. “Keith is a top notch investigator, good news for us, bad news for anyone who breaks the law at Wabash,” said Warden Richard Brown. McDonald brings over 26 years of law enforcement experience to the job. The former Linton, Indiana Police Chief came out of retirement to become a Internal Affairs Officer at WVCF in 2013. He was reinstated to police officer status/CPO by the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy and graduated from the Internal Affairs Academy. “Keith is a relentless crime fighter, he knows the turf, and he gets results, added Warden Brown, “which will help keep our staff, offenders and visitors safe.” The Greene County native will oversee a crew of five in the WVCF Office of Investigations and Intelligence including investigators and support personnel.
