Traffic will be utilizing the Riley Road interchange The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) announces State Road 46 and Riley Road traffic south of Moyer Road in Vigo County will be shifted tomorrow Saturday, Sept. 24. Traffic will begin utilizing the new S.R. 46 and Riley Road interchange complete with roundabouts. For more information about roundabouts, visit www.in.gov/indot/3249.htm. Motorists wishing to access the KOA Campground, Rose Hulman Ventures and Moyer Road will use the Tucker St. intersection. Walsh Construction Co. of Crown Point was awarded the Phase III contract for $25,298,936. Phase III runs from just northeast of Feree Road to just south of Moyer Road. The S.R. 641 project includes the construction of a new four-lane, full access control roadway connecting U.S. 41 southeast of Terre Haute to I-70 east of the city. The entire bypass should be open to traffic late this year. The first section of the S.R. 641 bypass opened in October of 2010, it takes motorists from U.S. 41 to McDaniel Road. Comments are closed.
