![]() SULLIVAN COUNTY --The Sullivan County Sheriff's Office welcomed the community to pay tribute to retired K-9 "Kilo" on her last ride through the community this morning. Sheriff Clark Cottom announced last night that Kilo has been diagnosed with a terminal illness. The K-9 served the citizens of Sullivan County for many years. Kilo's partner, former Deputy Brad Miller, currently serves as a trooper with the Indiana State Police. Cottom explained that Miller took Kilo on her last ride at 10:45 a.m. The escort detail made a stop at the Sullivan County Jail, where Kilo received her last radio dispatch. A public memorial was held near the flag pole at the Sullivan County Jail. A poem was read by Brad's father, Warren County Sheriff Bill Miller. Kilo's last ride then proceeded to the north side of Sullivan. Comments are closed.
