INDIANAPOLIS – At their annual meeting last week in Greenwood, the Indiana Conference of Mayors (ICOM) elected Sullivan Mayor Clint Lamb president of the organization. Lamb took office immediately and will serve for one year in the position.
“Population trends continue to prove that Hoosiers of all ages are seeking to live, work, play, and retire in communities with “things to do.” Supporting the ability of Hoosier cities to provide these amenities is imperative to 21st Century economic development. I look forward to building partnerships in the legislature that will help us accomplish this goal together,” Lamb continued.
Greenwood Mayor Mark Myers was elected by ICOM members to serve as the group’s vice- president. Mayor Lamb and Mayor Myers are currently serving in their second terms, both having been re-elected in November 2015.
