Vigo County election results finally were in Thursday afternoon following a glitch with equipment, according to the clerk's office. Locally, Janie Myers (D) won the office of Vigo County Coroner; Brad Newman (R) incumbent retained the office of Vigo Co. Clerk; Commissioners in 2nd and 3rd Districts resulted in a win for Chris Switzer (R) and Mike Morris (R); Rebecca Coleman (R) won the race for auditor; Winning candidates for County Council at- large seats: Incumbent Aaron Loudermilk (D), Don Morris (D) and Marie Belzile-Theisz (D). In the race for the U.S. President, which has not been decided at this time, Vigo County voted 56 percent for incumbent Donald Trump (R). His opponent Joe Biden (D) is leading in national results at the time of this report Thursday night. See unofficial results below: Comments are closed.
