Wabash Valley Correctional Facility
CARLISLE- The Wabash Valley Correctional Facility (WVCF) said “Thank You” to its volunteers, community service providers and interns during the 20th Annual Program Volunteers Recognition Banquet. Community Services Director Breanna Trimble said community support is vital to the operation of facility offender programs. Over 270 area residents gave of their time and skills over the past year to help offenders, as they prepare to return to their home communities. Volunteers average over 1,000 hours of service per month! Ms Trimble said without volunteers, programming in such areas as Religion, Programs, Re-Entry and Substance Abuse would be extremely difficult to provide.
