3 charged after Hillsdale search warrant yields meth, pills, cash

VERMILLION COUNTY - Three suspects face drug charges after  one and- a -half pounds  of methamphetamine, unidentified pills, drug- related items and cash were seized when officers served a search warrant in Vermillion County today.

Arrested at the scene:

• Tamara McClain Jordan, 46, of Ridge Farm, Ill. She is charged with the following ​: Felony dealing in methamphetamine; felony possession of methamphetamine; and  misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance.  She remains held in the jail with bond set at $100,000, 10 percent allowed.
• Troy Schmidtz , 49, of Dana​. He is charged with the following: Felony  possession of methamphetamine; misdemeanor visiting a common nuisance; and felony possession of methamphetamine. He has been released after posting $15,000 bond.

A man already serving time in the Parke Co. Jail also faces additional charges as a result of the investigation:

• George A. Kisor, 48, is charged with: Felony dealing in methamphetamine and felony possession of methamphetamine.

The joint investigation between the Vermillion and Parke County Sheriff’s Office’s led to the execution of the search warrant issued out of Parke Circuit Court at the Vermillion County residence located in Hillsdale. The investigation reportedly began when information was received by officers of the Parke County Sheriff’s Office.

Officials say more charges may be filed as the investigation continues.
