Indiana Central News ELKHART COUNTY - A man accused of robbing a bank in Sullivan last week has been apprehended in Elkhart County. Kevin S. Bonds, 32, Terre Haute, was booked into the Elkhart County Jail on the Sullivan County warrant yesterday afternoon. He is charged with robbery- taking property from another by putting someone in fear, a Level 5 felony.
Indiana State Police and the US Marshals Task Force arrested bonds on an active warrant out of Sullivan County for the Aug. 23 Fifth Third Bank robbery.
ISP Sgt. Matt Ames said officials received many tips on the case and the Putnamville Post thanks the public for helping investigators identify the suspect. Sullivan County Sheriff Clark Cottom said the numerous tips were beneficial in quickly nabbing the suspect. He said jail staff will be transferring Bonds to the Sullivan County Jail sometime next week. -- See related story Davis Kouns

Indiana Central News PARKE COUNTY, Ind - Two men were arrested in Parke County after a utility worker allegedly had a gun pointed at him while on duty at a residence in Mecca Tuesday. Parke County Sheriff's deputies responded to the report of the gun and alleged illegal drug use at the scene. Sheriff Justin Cole said that the weapon ultimately was found to be a BB gun, and one of the suspects faces an intimidation charge for that incident. Booked into the Parke Co. Jail:
