INDIANAPOLIS – Indianapolis narcotics detectives served a search warrant that netted drugs, guns and the arrest of a father and son.
Both suspects were later transported to the Marion County Lockup facility. According to the report, Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department detectives worked with Downtown, North District Narcotic Units and Criminal Interdiction Unit to investigate a report of suspected synthetic marijuana dealing. Adams Jr., suspected of dealing drugs, was pulled over on a traffic stop.. Officers located a loaded handgun, several ounces of synthetic marijuana, and $1,333 in cash in the vehicle and took the suspect into custody. As the investigation continued, a search warrant was obtained.for Adams; residence in the 2900 block of N .Delaware Street. Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department SWAT executed the search warrant and detained Johnnie Adams Sr. Detectives located the following items:
PUTNAM COUNTY -- A man and woman are facing drug charges after getting pulled over for driving too slow in the left lane on Interstate 70 in Putnam County this afternoon.

The vehicle reportedly was traveling 57 mph in a posted 70 mph zone. Indiana State Police Sr. Trooper B.J. Patterson explained that the trooper noticed the black Subaru Forester traveling eastbound near the 40 mile marker around 2:30 p.m.. During the traffic stop several indicators of possible criminal activity were detected. "A search of the vehicle yielded 11 pounds of suspected marijuana, with an estimated street value of $33,000," Patterson said, adding that one ounce of cannabis powder, 12 controlled substance pills and one gram of methamphetamine were also found in the vehicle.
