![]() SULLIVAN -- Fire investigators with Indiana Department of Homeland Security and State Fire Marshais are investigating the cause of a blaze the leaves the county three fewer ambulances and a headquarters, which were destroyed this morning. The fire reportedly started in the bay area of the Sullivan County Ambulance Service building on North Section Street at about 7 a.m. Officials say no one was injured in the fire. By afternoon, clean-up from the rubble was underway. Sullivan County Highway Department and Sullivan County Jail inmates were at the site clearing out what supplies and appliances were believed to be salvageable. Comments are closed.
