​SULLIVAN COUNTY --  Department of Natural Resources District 5 Indiana Conservation Officers responded to a capsized boat with reports of a man in the water at Turtle Creek Reservoir in Merom this afternoon.  

According to the latest report from the rescuers, three of the boaters have been safely rescued, one boater is still missing. Officials said two men and a juvenile were rescued and taken to an area hospital suffering from severe hypothermia. One of the men was later flown by Life-Line to Indy.

At around 4 p.m., officers said high winds and waves have made rescue operations treacherous. ​ICOs and Sullivan County Sheriff's Office deputies continue to search from the shore until conditions improve to launch another boat search for the missing victim.
