Indiana State University is wrapping up its many Homecoming activities this weekend, after holding the annual "Blue and White Parade this morning, in addition to some other traditions held on campus and at Memorial Stadium. It was a cool, but sunny morning, requiring most parade participants and spectators to wear jackets, hats and gloves for the hour-and-a-half parade. Celebrating 150 years -- students, alumni and the Terre Haute community have pitched in to make sure this anniversary is a special time for ISU. Various events tie in with the university's Sesquicentennial Celebration. The Sycamores hosted Southern Illinois University (Final score: 39-36) this afternoon. Many students and alumni also participated in the unofficial university tradition, "The Walk," where they attempt to stop at the many bars along the way to the game. More food and entertainment was featured at "Tent City" before the game. Comments are closed.
