![]() PUTNAM COUNTY — Robert Moss, 33; Ashley Cavitt, 24; and Charles Rodgers, 23, all of Paducah, Ky., were booked into the Putnam County Jail on drug-related charges today after an Indiana State Police trooper pulled over the car they were speeding along in on Interstate 70. The three suspects are charged with: Possession of meth, possession of controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of synthetic drug and possession of syringe. Trooper Yan Dravigne stopped the blue 2003 Pontiac car for traveling 90 miles-per-hour in a 70 mph zone eastbound I-70 near the 37 mile marker, ISP Sgt. Joe Watts said this afternoon. "Putnam County Sheriff’s Deputy Captain Dwight Simmons and K-9 'Beau' arrived to assist and 'Beau' gave a positive alert to the odor of illegal drugs," Watts said, noting that the group was traveling from Paducah to Chicago, when Moss (the driver) wrongfully entered eastbound I-70. Three bags of synthetic drugs (K-2 or Spice), less than one gram of methamphetamine, two Schedule IV controlled substance pills, seven syringes, scales and other paraphernalia were reportedly found in a search of the vehicle.
