PARKE COUNTY— A Wisconsin man is dead after police say he crashed into a guardrail and was thrown from his motorcycle in Parke County this afternoon.
Charles E. Marcoe, 71, of Kenosha, Wis. was thrown from his motorcycle after crashing into a guardrail on U.S. 41 near County Road 860 North. Indiana State Police responded to the crash. "The 2014 Harley Davidson traveling South Bound on U.S. 41, and for unknown reasons lost control near County Road 860 North and left the roadway striking the guard rail," Trooper B.J. Patterson said, noting Marcoe was wearing a helmet. An autopsy has been scheduled for tomorrow morning. The crash was investigated by ISP Master Trooper Gary Winters. Assisting were ISP Troopers Chuck Murphy and Lieutenant Brent Johnson. Also assisting at the scene were the Parke County Sheriff’s department and the Parke County Ems. Comments are closed.
