 Day/ Photo provided by DNR A West Terre Haute man is wanted in connection to a shooting on the Wabash River that left one man hospitalized with bullet wound - related injuries last week.
Indiana Conservation Officers are seeking the assistance of the public in locating Steve A. Day, 67, of 7500 North Pottsville Road. "An Indiana Conservation Officer K-9 located evidence in the area of the alleged shooting, leading to search warrants being issued which were executed at Mr. Day’s residence and surrounding property," Conservation Officer Nathan Lutz said, noting additional evidence was recovered. The victim, Floyd Cheeseman, 39, also of West Terre Haute, was reportedly shot in the abdomen while in a boat with several other people on the Wabash River near Tecumseh, Ind.
