![]() A Terre Haute Police Department investigation led to the arrest of three residents of a downtown apartment after a large crowd was broken up early Sunday morning. Jimmy L. Thomas, Christin K Jones and Shateria M. Carr, all residents of an apartment on South Fifth Street, were arrested for possession of Marijuana and maintaining a common nuisance. Officers of the Terre Haute Police Department were dispatched to the area of Fifth Street and Wabash Avenue on a report of shots fired call. “Officers report that there were approximately 50 people engaged in a fight on the east side of Fifth Street, “ Sgt. Denzil Lewis said, noting that the officers were able to disperse the crowd. “As officers continued to investigate the incident, Officers learned that the party was being held in Apt 202 at 5 S. Fifth St.” The investigation is ongoing at this time, as evidence continues to be collected. No one has reported any injuries or property damage due to the gunshots allegedly fired during the incident. Comments are closed.
