SULLIVAN COUNTY - A 72-year-old Graysville man was booked into the Sullivan County Jail this afternoon after deputies discovered several marijuana plants growing outside his home and in nearby woods when officials responded to a residential alarm there.
Charles Hale is charged with possession and cultivating marijuana, a level 6 felony. "Hale admitted that the marijuana plants were his and that he had a been cultivating them," Sullivan County Sheriff Clark Cottom stated today. According to the report, Lt. Wm. Snead was dispatched to a residential alarm on CR 900 W in Graysville at about 1:30 p.m. Reportedly, after arriving on scene, Lt. Snead observed marijuana plants growing in a plastic tub outside of the residence, just before Hale arrived to the property. After Hale returned, deputies then conducted a thorough search of the property and found additional marijuana plants growing in the woods not far from the residence. Comments are closed.
