Indiana Central News PARKE COUNTY - A former Parke Heritage Booster Club treasurer has been charged with stealing $9,000 following a three-month Indiana State Police investigation. Patricia K. Hanks, 46, of Rockville, was taken into custody on an arrest warrant Thursday afternoon. She is charged with theft, a Class 6 felony and is being held in the Parke County Jail on a $10,000 bond, 10 percent allowed. ISP Sgt. Matt Ames explained that the suspect worked as the treasurer for the organization from August 2018 through February. During that time period, she allegedly stole more than $9,000. "She allegedly was not depositing funds into the bank accounts, to benefit in self-gain," he said. Comments are closed.
