![]() One person was injured after a semi-truck rolled over on Interstate 70 in Vigo County early this morning. Ramon H. Henry, 36, of Spring Lake, N.C. was a passenger in the 2015 Freightliner tractor which was pulling a trailer at the time of the rollover. He was transported to an area hospital complaining of pain suffered in the crash. Indiana State Police and Vigo County emergency crews responded to the tractor-trailer rollover crash in the median near the 14 mile marker just before 5 a.m. According to ISP Sgt. Joe Watts, Claude Robens, 37, of West Palm Beach, Fla., was eastbound on I-70 near the 14 mile marker, when he lost control while trying to pass another commercial vehicle. The tractor-trailer traveled into the median and rolled over. The cargo was dry freight and no freight was lost, he said. Robens was not injured and no tickets were issued. Robens was driving for Covenant Transport of Edinburg. The crash was investigated by ISP Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Master Trooper Matt Ames. Assisting were the Vigo County Sheriff’s Office, Riley Fire/Rescue, Riley EMS, and Edington’s Wrecker Service. Comments are closed.
