![]() The Terre Haute Police Department is investigating an armed robbery at a south side gas station that happened Thursday night. Officers responded to the Sunrise gas station at 408 S. Seventh Street at about 10 p.m. where a clerk reportedly was held at gunpoint during the robbery. Sgt. Michael Ellerman describes the suspects as two light-skinned males, of unknown race. The suspects allegedly stole an undisclosed amount of money and then fled from the area. “The suspects both were wearing hooded sweatshirts and had their faces covered to hide their identity. One of the suspects was wearing black and red gloves and had a dark colored bag on his back with “Nike” printed on it in orange. The other suspect displayed a dark-colored handgun, which he pointed at the clerk during the robbery,” Ellerman said. The investigation is ongoing.
