Indiana Central News SULLIVAN COUNTY- A truck driver is being treated for hypothermia after his tractor trailer flipped over in Sullivan County this morning and plunged into frigid water. Sullivan County Sheriff Clark Cottom said the cab of the tractor came to a rest in the body of water, adding that while not otherwise injured in the crash, the driver --- Jimmy Anderson, 58, of Lawrenceville, Ill.--- suffered from hypothermia. Investigation revealed that the the truck was loaded with scrap metal, bound for Indianapolis, when it left the roadway --- before overturning along a creek bed around 5 am,, about three miles west of Graysville. The tractor-trailer roll over shut down traffic along SR 154. Crews continued working to clean up the scene, between Hutsonville and Graysville, for several hours. Turman Township Fire and Indiana Department of Transportation assisted at the scene. Comments are closed.
