Indiana Central News HENDRICKS COUNTY - A truck driver was arrested this afternoon in Hendicks County after an Indiana State Police trooper found a large amount of cocaine and marijuana stashed away in hidden compartments created within the semi. John Jay Jackson, 52, of Michigan, was arrested on the following preliminary charges:
The trooper pulled over the semi-tractor trailer for commercial motor carrier compliance check on Interstate 70 near S.R. 39 around 3 p.m. He reportedly noticed criminal indicators during the stop, resulting in a search of the vehicle. Hidden compartments were located in the tractor and the trailer during further investigation, ISP Sgt. John Perrine explained. "In the compartments inside the tractor, approximately 100 Kilograms of cocaine was located. Inside a false wall in the trailer approximately 130 pounds of high grade marijuana was discovered," he said. Comments are closed.
