Indiana Central News CARLISLE – An Indianapolis man and woman were arrested on trafficking charges at the Wabash Valley Correctional Facility Sunday. Taylor Twyman, 23, and Tyler Miller,18, were transported from the prison to the Sullivan County Jail.
Twyman and Miller arrived at the Prison in Carlisle to visit an offender, when they were intercepted by the Office of Investigations and Intelligence under the suspicion of trafficking narcotics into the facility, according to a press release today. Investigators interviewed the suspects and then searched their vehicle and phone for evidence. Twyman reportedly admitted to the trafficking scheme and surrendered narcotics that was hidden on her person to investigators. Officials at the prison continue to work to stop contraband items getting into the hands of inmates. “The Investigations and Intelligence did an excellent job in this investigation. This is another example of their determination to detour drug trafficking into the facility,” stated Warden Dick Brown. “We have zero tolerance for this type of misconduct.” Comments are closed.
