Indiana Central News CLAY COUNTY - One truck driver is dead while his passenger and another truck driver are hospitalized following a two semi crash on Interstate 70 Wednesday in Clay County. Carey W. Baker, 48, of Sevierville, Tennessee, was deceased at the scene. A passenger in Baker's truck, Ian M. Windom, 26, also of Sevierville, was in the sleeper berth of the tractor-trailer. He suffered neck and back injuries from the impact of the accident and was taken by LifeLine to a hospital in Indianapolis , according to Indiana State Police Sgt. Matt Ames. The other driver, Emmanuel Ramos, 35, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, was transported by STARR ambulance service to a Terre Haute hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Emergency crews responded to the crash near the 13-mile marker in the eastbound lanes just after 6:30 p.m. Investigation revealed the 2012 Freightliner driven by Ramos traveling around 60 MPH when he was struck in the rear by the other semi tractor-trailer. "The force of this collision caused both semi tractor-trailers off Interstate 70 to the south side into the wood line," Ames said.
