WTH Police arrest child molesting suspect

A traffic stop led to the arrest of a a man wanted on various molestation and related charges this afternoon in West Terre Haute.

James E. Shattuck, 39, of West Terre Haute, was booked into the Vigo County Jail after a traffic stop around  2 p.m..

A registered sex offender, he is being held in custody on the following felony charges: Child molesting (child under the age of 14;) child solicitation; criminal confinement and sexual misconduct with a minor.

The West Terre Haute Police reportedly sought an arrest warrant after a two month investigation.
