UPDATE July 4, 2019- The Vigo County Sheriff’s Office has released the names of the two deceased victims involved in the July 3 fatal crash on French drive:
The driver of the vehicle:18 -year -old Mason Kiger and passenger 17 -year- old Robert Clouse, both of Terre Haute. The name of the surviving injured juvenile male will not be released, Sheriff John Plasse said today. -- By Lucy Perry Indiana Central News Two teenagers are dead and one injured following an early morning crash in southern Vigo County. Information is limited at this time and the names of the victims have not been released, pending notification of family. Emergency crews responded to the single-vehicle accident on French Drive, just before 3 a.m. Investigation revealed that the vehicle was southbound when the driver lost control and crashed into a tree, Vigo County Sheriff John Plasse said, adding the two victims were dead at the scene. "Speed is considered to be a factor," he said. A third occupant was transported to a local hospital for treatment of unknown injuries suffered in the crash. Comments are closed.
