Indiana Central News VERMILLION COUNTY-- Two Terre Haute men were arrested on drug, weapon and traffic charges after being stopped by Vermillion County Sheriff's Office deputies near Clinton Thursday.
Vermillion County Deputy Chad Hennis and Clinton Officer Mahady reportedly stopped the two vehicles for traffic violations north of Clinton. After pulling over Grimes, Richardson allegedly attempted to evade law enforcement and then exit the vehicle to get away, according to information from the Vermillion Co. Sheriff's Office. "During a search of the second vehicle, officers located methamphetamine, marijuana, pills and a 9MM handgun. The driver also admitted that he threw a bag of marijuana out of the window," the press release states. Officers later recovered the bag. . Investigating Officers: Vermillion County Deputy Chad Hennis and Clinton City Officer Brandon Mahady.
