One man was reportedly injured in a collision at the intersection of Third and Chestnut Street this evening. Terre Haute Police and Fire Departments responded to the two-vehicle crash near Indiana State University and a Circle K gas station just after 6:30 p.m Terre Haute Fire Department personnel transported the male driver of a red Ford pick-up truck to a local hospital for treatment of lacerations and possible other unknown injuries. Airbags deployed in the vehicles. The Pontiac sustained extensive front-end damage and the Ford sustained front passenger side damage. The 31-year-old driver of a gold Pontiac reported no injuries at the scene. He stated he saw the pick-up truck coming toward the intersection when the driver of the Ford allegedly didn't stop for the traffic light when the crash occurred. Comments are closed.
