A Terre Haute man was cited for operating a vehicle without proof of financial responsibility after crashing into another vehicle in southern Vigo County yesterday afternoon.
Larry A. Hinesley Jr. , 45, was southbound on Houseman Street when he lost control of his Ford pick-up truck and crashed into a southbound passenger car driven by Nancy J. Searing, 67, also of Terre Haute. The collision reportedly caused Hinesley’s truck to roll over onto its side, temporarily trapping him inside of the truck. According to the report, Vigo County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to Springhill Drive and Houseman Street for the vehicle crash with injuries at about 4:45 p.m. Chief Deputy John Moats explained that drivers complained of pain at the scene, but refused ambulance transport to the hospital. Honey Creek Fire Department and Riley Fire Department Ambulance assisted at the scene. Comments are closed.
