Burglary suspect arrested after early morning northside crash

A Terre Haute man was booked into the Vigo County Jail on burglary charges following a single-vehicle crash early this morning.

Tommy L Edwards,58, was wanted on an outstanding warrant for burglary, according to Public Information Officer Ryan Adamson, of the Terre Haute Police Department. 

THPD officers responded to the crash scene at N.15th and Locust Streets at about 5:30 a.m. Edwards was transported to a local hospital on complaints of stomach pain from the crash, before being booked into jail.

"After medical clearance, Edwards was transported to the Vigo County Jail and charged with the warrant," Adamson said.
