Indiana Central News A Terre Haute man and woman were arrested on drug charges following a late night traffic stop.Further investigation revealed that both suspects also had active warrants out of Vigo County for their arrest. Brittany J. Michel, 23, was booked into the Vigo County Jail around 12:30 a.m. and charged with:
Brady A. Michel, 26, was booked into the Vigo County Jail around 1:30 a.m. and charged with:
Indiana State Police Trooper Brad Fyfe was patrolling in the area of Second and Turner Streets just before midnight, when he stopped the small pickup truck for failing to signal a turn. Both suspects were passengers in the vehicle. Suspicious activity was detected and a free air sniff by ISP K-9 Czar was conducted, indicating illegal activity. Brady initially gave a false name to Trooper Fyfe, according to Sgt. Matt Ames. During a subsequent search of the truck, Brady's backpack was found, containing two hypodermic needles and drug paraphernalia. During a search of Brittany's purse, methamphetamine and a hypodermic syringe were discovered, Ames said. Comments are closed.
