UPDATE 4-28-19- Officials have ruled last night's empty warehouse fire as arson. The Terre Haute Fire Department also responded to two nearby residential structure fires at around 3 a.m., which also were reportedly intentionally set. Those fires were in vacant houses at N. 23rd Street and First Avenue. The investigation is ongoing.
--- By Lucy Perry Indiana Central News Terre Haute Fire Department crews responded to a warehouse fire on the city's north side late last night. Upon their arrival to the scene just after 11 p.m, the structure located at N.17th Street and Maple Avenue was completely engulfed in flames and smoke. Several roads surrounding the fire were blocked off to traffic. The building was the former Fiber Box company, which closed down several years ago. The fire is under investigation at this time, and arson investigators were on site. No injuries were reported. More information will be provided as it becomes available. Comments are closed.
