![]() By Lucy Perry Indiana Central News A Terre Haute man was arrested on multiple charges following a traffic stop on S. Third Street Thursday night. Camron J. Banghart, 27, was booked into the Vigo County Jail and charged with:
Indiana State Police Trooper Brad Fyfe was patrolling the area near Poplar Street, when he stopped the passenger vehicle for an equipment violation by a gas station around 10:30 p.m. After reportedly misleading officers on his identity, an identification card was found in the suspect's back pocket. ISP Sgt. Matt Ames said suspicious activity was detected. A K-9 check around the vehicle indicated an alert. Banghart was found to be in in possession of methamphetamine during a subsequent search of the vehicle, Ames said, noting that further investigation revealed the suspect had two active warrants for his arrest out of Vigo County.
