A Terre Haute man on his way home after working a 12-hour shift in Paris, Ill. is lucky to be alive after flipping his car on a busy southside roadway this morning, his mother said.
Charles Tishon, 34, lost control of his green Chevrolet Impala at 8 a.m. His mother, at the scene, said he only suffered some lacerations on one of his hands from the crash. Terre Haute Police and Fire Departments closed off several blocks of Third Steet near Minshall Street, where the car was inverted and had taken out a light pole in front of a restaurant in the crash. Vigo County Sheriff's Office assisted at the scene.The vehicle was totaled. Comments are closed.
