The Terre Haute Police Department is investigating a report of a purse-snatching incident outside a northside home improvement store.

According to a THPD spokesman, the suspect allegedly stole a purse belonging to an elderly victim in the parking lot of Menards on Fort Harrison.

The department released a photo of a suspect in the case this morning.  She appears to be around 5 feet and 2 inches in height, with a thick build. She has blondish colored hair and a large tattoo on her left forearm.
