By Lucy Perry Indiana Central News The Vigo County Sheriff's Office is investigating a serious accident tonight involving two motorcycles. One victim was transported by Lifeline helicopter to a hospital,while another was transported by ambulance, according to scanner traffic. Emergency crews responded to the crash in East Glen on US 40 around 9:30 p.m. The motorcycles were several feet apart with debris and shoes scattered across the roadway.Accident re-constructionists were on scene at the time of this report, 11:30 p.m. All lanes of US 40 at the site of the accident remained closed while crews worked the scene, just east of Chamberlain Road. More information will be provided as it becomes available. Terre Haute Police Department, Lost Creek and Seelyville Fire Departments assisted at the scene. Comments are closed.
