UPDATE 7-19-17- Mayor Duke Bennett addressed the media in his office at 4 p.m. regarding the FBI raid at wastewater treatment plant. He said the city is cooperating fully with the investigation, which he believes is targeting a "certain individual." Bennett said the city will conduct an internal investigation, while the FBI case is expected to take some time.
-- By Lucy Perry Indiana Central News FBI agents are currently at the Terre Haute Wastewater Treatment plant and were observed carrying multiple boxes to a truck this afternoon, after arriving on scene this morning. Public Information Officer Tim Horty, of the Southern District of Indiana office, said he could not comment at this time on the case. Mayor Duke Bennett has not responded to requests for information at this time. The $100 million dollar southside facility was included many upgrades to the outdated system about four years ago on SR 63, near the federal prison.
