Indiana Central News A former employee of a local car dealership is accused of stealing more than $50,000 following a two-month long Indiana State Police theft investigation. Cecia Copeland, 53, of Farmersburg, is charged with theft, a Class 5 felony; forgery, a Class 6 felony; and fraud, a Class 6 felony. Copeland was employed by Burger Chrysler Jeep from 2014 to 2019. She worked as a controller of finances for the business located on S. Third Street in Terre Haute. ISP Sgt. Matt Ames said Copeland had allegedly written checks and forged sale documents. Copeland is scheduled to appear for an initial hearing in Vigo County Div. 3 Court Nov. 13 Comments are closed.
