Indiana Central News Indiana State University held its 101st Blue and White Homecoming Parade this morning, drawing a large crowd downtown. The parade route began west on Wabash Avenue to Fifth Street and ended at the intersection of Fifth and Chestnut streets and lasted two hours. Grand Parade Marshals this year were Indiana State President Dan Bradley and First Lady Cheri Bradley. Indiana State’s 11th president since 2008, Bradley will be stepping down from the position in January. With pleasant weather and a temperature of about 70 degrees, Homecoming celebrations continued at Memorial Stadium at Wabash and Brown Avenues on Terre Haute's east side, with Tent City opening at 11 a.m.. Indiana State hosted Southern Illinois, with the win going to Southern Illinois 45-24.. Many ISU students and alumni participated in the annual "Walk" from campus to the stadium. Comments are closed.
