The other suspect, Victoria Summer Majko, 19, of Indianapolis, reportedly attempted to flee the scene at 2800 S. 27th St. and was quickly apprehended. She was booked into the Vigo County Jail around 2:30 p.m. Majko’s charges include: Possession of methamphetamine, resisting law enforcement, visiting a common nuisance and an outstanding warrant for battery from Monroe County. According to the report, several drugs and items associated with illicit drug use were found in the home. "A search of the residence yielded approximately 17-grams of suspected cocaine, approximately 3- grams of heroin, approximately 3- grams of suspected crystal methamphetamine, approximately 2- grams of marijuana, prescription pills, a handgun and many items of paraphernalia such as syringes, scales, smoking pipes, etc.," Sgt. Joe Watts said.
Troopers from the Putnamville District Meth Suppression Team responded to the residence following up on tips by concerned neighbors about alleged drug use and noticed a strong smell of burnt marijuana coming from inside the residence. The suspects reportedly were then detained while troopers waited for a search warrant.
Neighbors had complained to police about increased traffic around the area and other unusual activity, such as a change of porch light colors at certain times -- a possible signal to alert potential buyers of drug availability, Watts explained. Report information on suspected methamphetamine or other illegal drug activity in the ISP Putnamville disirict at 765-653-4114. Anonymous calls can be taken. Comments are closed.
