![]() A Terre Haute woman was booked into the Vigo County Jail last night after police allege she left the scene of a personal injury crash when driving drunk. Jessica N. Marshall, 27, of Terre Haute is charged with operating while intoxicated and leaving the scene of a personal injury crash. Sgt. Joe Watts of the Indiana State Police stated she tested .08 percent BAC. According to the report, Marshall was heading northbound on Fifth Street in a 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe,and failed to yield to an eastbound 2006 Kawasaki motorcycle driven by Curtis Whitt, 52, of Terre Haute. Indiana State Police and Terre Haute city emergency agencies responded to the two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Fifth and Hulman Streets in Terre Haute, just before 11 p.m. “After the collision, Ms. Marshall fled the scene and was located approximately one hour later at her residence,” Watts said. The crash victim was transported to to a local hospital for treatment of possible multiple fractures and facial injuries. Whitt was not wearing a helmet. He was not cited for any violations. The crash was investigated by Trooper Nicole Cheeks. Assisting were ISP Trooper Rondell Shelton, THPD Officer Brian Hall, and Terre Haute Fire/EMS. Comments are closed.
