Indiana Central News An Indiana State Police armed robbery investigation is underway after a suspect fled from a discount store on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash in Riley last night. Troopers responded to an armed robbery at the Dollar General Store at 7205 South State Road 46 in Riley around 9 p.m "[The suspect] entered the store, pointed a black handgun at the cashiers and demanded money,"ISP Sgt. Joe Watts said, noting the suspect grabbed cash from two registers and fled south from the store. A subsequent police search ensued. A few customers and employees were in the store at the time, but no injuries were reported. The suspect is described as a slender male, unknown ethnicity, approximately 5-feet, 3-inches tall. He was wearing a white mask with a black mustache, black baggy pants, and a gray hooded sweatshirt. Anyone with information in this case should contact Trooper Courtland Woodruff or ISP Detective Don Curtis at the Putnamville Post at 765.653.4114.
