![]() A Terre Haute man is charged with five counts of voyeurism after officials were recently alerted to a "spy camera" hidden inside of a women's locker room at Indiana State University. Nick D. Pedger, 22, was booked into the Vigo County Jail Friday at about 3 p.m. and was released a short time later. He is scheduled to appear in Superior Court Div. 1 tomorrow. Several items were seized when Indiana State Police officers executed a search warrant for the suspect's belongings May 6, including clothing caught on video he allegedly was observed to wear and electronic devices allegedly used to record victims. Evidence seized by police included several cell phones laptop computers and cameras. The suspect was taken into custody at the time. According to court documents, Indiana State University Public Safety received a silent witness form regarding the alleged voyeurism on April 30 and noted that the camera was located inside of the girls' volleyball team locker room. The videos had reportedly been uploaded and shared online by someone using the online ID "dabadge," featuring recordings "up a girls' skirts and also in office space with females present." Various other video and images taken that were private in nature at several campus buildings were identified by investigators. ISU Police Department investigation led to the camera location inside of an empty locker. ISU Police were able to find more specific information my viewing the video on xhamster.com and social media allegedly posted by the suspect. Coach Traci Dahl, according to the probable cause affidavit prepared by Officer Michele Barrett, had informed police that a former player who was identified in some videos, had quit the team because of a conflict with her marriage. Dahl reported that the athlete's husband, Pledger, was oftentimes seen lingering around the facility. Dahl noted that Pledger is enrolled in the Army ROTC program at ISU. The former volleyball player reportedly admitted to giving Pledger the code to the locker room. Barrett immediately was able to follow links to discover photos of women wearing the volleyball uniforms inside the locker room and arranged to have locks changed at the beginning of the investigation.
