Man accused of reckless homicide, neglect resulting in death

A Terre Haute Police Department death investigation has landed one local man in jail.

Anthony M. Cleveland, 45, of Terre Haute, was booked into the Vigo County Jail Thursday around 10 a.m. He is charged with neglect of a dependent resulting in serious bodily injury; neglect of a dependent resulting in death; and reckless homicide.

Information is limited at this time; However,  according to the THPD, the victim was a 32-year-old woman. The suspect reportedly was responsible for the care of the disabled woman at the time of her death on the city's north side.

The investigation began Monday, when officers dispatched to the residence at N. 28th and Prairie Streets regarding the death.
