Indiana Central News A man wanted on an outstanding warrant in Vermillion County was taken into custody after crashing a vehicle into a utility pole in western Vigo County early this morning. Tadd Wilson, 29, of Clinton, was transported to the Vermillion County Jail after Vigo County Sheriff's deputies located him a short time later. In addition to his charges in Vermillion County, he is also facing a charge of leaving the scene of a property damage crash from today's incident. Deputies responded to a call regarding the one - vehicle accident in the 2600 block of Barnhardt Road in West Terre Haute. The 2005 Pontiac passenger vehicle was crashed into the utility pole --- without the driver in it --- when deputies arrived on scene. Further investigation revealed the vehicle was recently reported stolen. Wilson reportedly admitted to being the driver of the vehicle, which belongs to his mother.
