Man wounds 2 in northside shooting before turning gun on self

UPDATE: A Terre Haute Police Department spokesman has reported the man with the self-inflicted gunshot wound, identified as Austyn White, has died.

 An early morning shooting injured three people Thursday on Terre Haute's north side.

Emergency crews responded to a call regarding shots fired during a domestic situation in the 1100 block of N. Ninth Street,  just after 6 a.m.

A woman and a man had suffered gunshot wounds at the apartment unit. The extent of their injuries has not been released at this time.

According to the Terre Haute Police Department,  another man was found on scene with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.

The injured were transported to local hospitals for treatment.
