No arrests made in fatal stabbing at Terre Haute motel

One person is dead after a fatal stabbing at a local motel Sunday morning.

Information is limited at this time, including the name of the victim. However, the Terre Haute Police Department said that when officers arrived at the Rodeway Inn on S. Third Street, a man was administering CPR to the stabbing victim. That person was transported to a local hospital, where he died a short time later.

Emergency crews were dispatched to the motel around 8:15 a.m. Officers identified the stabbing suspect, according to the report.

At this time, no arrests have been made.

The investigation is ongoing.
